One Shot Entertainment Movie Screening
The Film Fleadh isn’t the only place film’s are being shown in Galway this weekend, we seem to have film fever this week!
Local Galway production company One Shot Entertainment are having a screening of 3 of their short films this Saturday at 8.30pm upstairs in Richardson’s (Next door to Fibbers) in Eyre Square. This is the only screening of The Underground film before it is shown in film festivals all over the world!
The Underground, written, produced & directed by Stephen Patrick Kenny was shot all over Galway City in the last few months and got the attention of some well known names including former world boxing champion Steve Collins who stars as drug dealer Jake in the film.
Other stars include Love/Hates Tom Ward, Mark Hutchinson (Drowning Rats), Rick Burn (Game of Thrones), Eugene Horan (Ghostwood), Gerard Fallon (Rasai Na Gallimhe), Ollie Keogh (Clowns) and with a host of local Galway fighters making their first appearances in a film (Cathal Manning, Gary Manogue, Eric Daly, Finbarr Kelly), music from the soundtrack which has got nothing but fantastic reviews comes from local lad rob Wade (You Bloom), Don Mescall from Voice of Ireland, Austrians very own rock band Loxodrome, The Manhattan Syndrome, Ollie Keogh, Barry Staunton and Lineage!
Doors open at 8.30pm and there is a €7 cover charge on the door.
