The replica vessel is 11tons, 86ft long and a 1 tenth replica of the Titanic and will be launched in Salthill at 5.15pm today Friday
the 27th of July by the Mayor of Galway on the rooftop (under the Christ the Redeemer Statue) at the
Galway Cultural Institute in Salthill at 5.15pm

Joe, thanks for putting my grand childrins pictures on the internet. Megan and Jessica Joyce from Lahardand Co Mayo playing the violin at the launch of the Titanic in Salthill. Beautiful pictures taken by a brilliant Photoagrapher.
Don’t forget the Titanic replica was built in Lahardane, Mayo, “Ireland’s Titanic Village” by ten local volunteers and they are still the proud owners.
Don’t mind sharing it, but we want it back!
